Free Public Liability Insurance (PLI) is available to Neighbourhood Watch Associations / Schemes in England & Wales which have been formally registered with, and approved by, their local police authority as an authorised Neighbourhood Watch Association/Scheme. This PLI scheme is managed by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) working in conjunction with CaSE Insurance. Cover is insured by Ansvar Insurance, a business division of the Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc.

The scheme for 2011/12 has now been agreed and you can now renew your Neighbourhood Watch Public Liability Insurance (PLI) Policy for the period 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2012.

Please follow the instructions below to undertake your renewal, which will be backdated to be valid from 1st April 2011.

Please note you must register for renewal of your insurance by 30th April 2011.

How can you renew your PLI policy?

To renew your policy please click on the blue link below and follow the instructions underneath it:

1. Enter the following details (case sensitive):
   Username: AnsvarP
   Password: fbpol852



2. Select ‘Policy Renewal' from the options available upon which you will be asked the following details (case sensitive):
   - Your police reference:
   - Your policy number:



3. Modify any contact details of your policy and press the 'modify' button

How can you apply for a new policy?

To take up a new policy please click on the blue link below and follow the instructions underneath it:

1. Enter the following details (case sensitive):
   Username: AnsvarP
   Password: fbpol852



2. Select ‘Apply for New Policy' from the options available upon which you will be asked the following details (case sensitive):
   - Your police reference:
   - Neighbourhood Watch Association/Scheme Name
   - Number of households in your Neighbourhood Watch catchment:
   - Number of scheme co-ordinators in your Association / Scheme:
   - Contact details
